Ricky Rubio has been thriving on the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he has been key to their improvement this season. His playmaking and knowledge of the game has certainly helped the young team.

In the years since leaving the Minnesota Timberwolves, Ricky Rubio has bounced from team to team. One of his stops was the Utah Jazz, where he helped the team make the playoffs in 2019.

It seems as though Ricky Rubio's former teammates have missed him. Donovan Mitchell has recently posted an Instagram story of Ricky Rubio reuniting with all of his teammates from his time in Salt Lake City, with a joking caption stating that it's "always good seeing Jesus". Mitchell was obviously referring to Ricky Rubio's beard and looks, which make him look like a traditional representation of Jesus.

It's always good to see players show love to their former teammates. Ricky Rubio was certainly liked in Utah, and many have lauded his stellar defensive and playmaking abilities.

Although Ricky Rubio is a good player, the Utah Jazz have done fine in the years without him. They have always been a really good regular season team, and they finished as the No. 1 seed last season. Some even called them the best team in the West.

That being said, many people have stated that they need to prove it in the playoffs. Despite their high-placed finishes during the regular season, they haven't made the Conference Finals once in the last 5 years. However, there is an opportunity for them to do it this season.

The Utah Jazz have some very good pieces, but it seems as though they have missed some element to their team that would get them over the hump. Despite the fact that they held a 2-0 lead on the Clippers in their series last season, the Clippers prevailed. However, continuity is a good thing, and perhaps the Utah Jazz will manage to get deep in the playoffs this year.
