Huawei becomes the first company to complete the preliminary verification of 5G-Advanced synesthesia integration technology
Huawei has successfully completed the preliminary trials and becomes the world’s first 5G-Advanced Synesthesia and Perception Integrated Technology Verification in the Huairou field on December 30, 2021. This trial was done under the guidance of the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.
According to the information, Huawei will continue to actively participate in the work of the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group. More interestingly, the Chinese tech maker has plans to test and verify low-altitude security and other scenarios in 2022.

The trial successfully verifies the application of synesthesia in smart transportation and intrusion detection in parks. The detection distance of the synesthesia base station is more than 500 meters, the positioning accuracy reaches the lane level, and the detection accuracy of vehicles and pedestrians reaches 100%.
