Huawei’s EMUI custom mobile software versions are based on Android. The most recent version of the EMUI series is EMUI 12, which comes with an eye-catching user interface and brand new features to provide a next-level user experience.

For a long time, Huawei devices users running on EMUI software version are waiting for HarmonyOS – Huawei’s self-developed operating system in the global market. In the meantime, the Chinese tech maker has introduced EMUI 12, which provides a similar experience to HM OS.

Currently, the stable EMUI 12 version is available for flagships devices including Huawei P40, Mate 40, Mate 30, and Mate Xs. On the other hand, devices such as Nova 5T, P40 Lite, Nova 7 are currently under EMUI 12 beta testing phase.

Current EMUI version

Speaking about the EMUI 12 features, it comes with a new innovative user interface design, animation effects, this version also supports new font-weight adjustment, separate access to both notification and control panel.

Additionally, it also features Device+ which allows you to connect multiple devices to a single smartphone, distributed file system, MeeTime as well as more security options. Also, the overall performance will be increased compared to the previous version.
