Huawei Mate X3 (PAL-AL00) allegedly receives MIIT certificate
A new Huawei smartphone with the code name PAL-AL00 has received the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), which is allegedly called as Huawei Mate X3 foldable phone. According to the MIIT listing, the PAL-AL00 phone reported as Huawei Mate X3 will be equipped with the HarmonyOS operating system and supports only 4G network connectivity.
Besides this, the certifications don’t contain any detail regarding their parameters and specifications. Now, the matter of upcoming phones is somewhat clear that Huawei has two flagships under development – Mate X3 and Mate 50.
Several Weibo tipsters have disclosed information related to the next generation folding phone – Huawei Mate X3. In this segment, a digital blogger mentioned that Huawei Mate X3 is expected to be equipped with Kirin 9000 or SD 888 processor and probably mark this presence in May 2022.
Another Weibo tipster – Digital Chat Station revealed that Huawei will launch Mate X3 ahead of Mate 50 series. At the moment, the testing models have both variants Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon 888 5G processor. In addition to this, he doesn’t know which variant will be selected for mass production.
Huawei Mate X folding smartphone series:
In 2019, Huawei has debuted its first foldable smartphone – Huawei Mate X. Afterwards, Huawei didn’t stop the launching of folding phones and released Mate Xs followed by Mate X2.
In 2022, Huawei has also introduced a new kind of folding phone with a verticle fold design – the Huawei P50 Pocket. This phone has been launched in both China and the global market.

Huawei Mate X2 features 8-inch foldable screen with 2480 x 2200 pixels resolution, 16.7 million colors, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Besides this, the external 6.45-inches display with 2700 x 1160p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
This phone is powered by Kirin 9000 5nm processor (Octa-core, 1 x Cortex-A77 at 3.13 GHz + 3 x Cortex-A77 at 2.54 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A55 at 2.05 GHz) for better performance.
