LeBron James is considered to be one of the most admirable athletes of the modern generation. He is an advocate for social justice, is incredibly charitable, and often focuses his efforts on children. His 'I PROMISE School' helps under-represented youth in Akron, Ohio find opportunities that wouldn't be available to them otherwise.

Even though LeBron has that very open and giving side, it is something he has developed over time. In his initial Cavaliers run and at the start of his Miami Heat run, LeBron was one of the most fun-loving players in the league, often dancing around the bench area with his teammates.

LeBron is more cautious about the way he carries himself now but it's a new approach. In 2011, there was a clip of LeBron at a basketball camp where he skies for a dunk while children are doing some drills. The near 300-pound LeBron goes clattering into a camper and knocks him down to the floor, a humorous but potentially dangerous incident.

Obviously LeBron didn't intend to do the child like that but it resulted in a pretty funny clip. You won't see 37-year-old LeBron attempt something like that anymore as Lebron is no longer as explosive as he was during his Heat days. He can still knock anyone out of the air if he wants but it's pretty safe to say he won't try and do that now if a child was also under the rim at the same time.

James has a big season ahead of him as he looks to finally surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and become the NBA's all-time leading scorer. In addition, he will hope his Lakers are more competitive and can make a run to the Playoffs. While championship contention may not be in the picture, LeBron can still be one of the most enjoyable players to watch in the NBA currently.
