John Wall has been out of sight and out of mind for a while now, having barely played in the league over the last few years. He was once one of the premier point guards in the NBA, but injuries robbed him of what should have been the prime of his career. He also sat out for the entire 2021-22 season, as the Rockets were rebuilding and wanted to give more playing time to their youngsters, which meant he had only played 72 games since the beginning of the 2018-19 season.

So, when it was announced that he was signing with the Clippers this offseason, some wondered if he still had it in him to perform at a high level. Paul George, for one, certainly believes that is the case as he sent a message to Clippers fans where he said Wall looks really good. It doesn't seem like George was exaggerating either, as a video surfaced that showed Wall perform a nasty spin move in practice, which was reminiscent of him at his best, and NBA fans were hyped after seeing that.

"clippers really winning a ring next season, thats crazyyy"

"I'm here to tell y'all John Wall is ready!!"

"Holy hell 🤯"

"He’s ready for a revenge season"

"Clippers fans are gonna love this guy."

"got that ball on a rope"

"clippers gone be dangerous 😂😂"

"Too filthy 👏🏼"

"Majority of fans forgot how great he was"

"Damn clippers gone be good"

"The Clippers are winning the championship next season."

"I got John wall winning a chip"

"I had to watch it like 5 times that was dope"

"I see a vintage Wall coming"

"John Wall is the POINT GAWD"

"So ready to see clippers and they not even my team"

"Comeback season bout to be in full swing🔥🥶"

"My clippers fr winning the championship it’s wild man"

"Y’all in troubleeeee🗣🗣🗣🗣"

"So nice to see John wall enjoying basketball again"

He does look really good out there and we can't wait to see him back on the court. While expecting him to consistently perform at an All-Star level might be a bit too much, the fact is that the Clippers don't need him to do that. They already have Kawhi Leonard to go with George and all they need from Wall is for him to ably perform the role of the playmaker.

They have all the pieces on paper to be a strong contender for the title next season and one NBA analyst went as far as to say that they are clearly the best team in the Western Conference, even over the Golden State Warriors. Wall's addition has something to do with that and perhaps this will finally be the year that the Clippers put it all together and win the championship.
