New blame game, U.S. allegedly plots fresh allegation on Huawei

Huawei is once again standing in the witness box of U.S. officials with a new allegation. The latest information claims that two men are accused of hindering the US criminal investigation. Shockingly, these men are suspected to be Huawei’s Intelligence Officers.

As per the input revealings, the two men named Guochen He and Zheng Wang were blamed to obstruct Huawei’s prosecution. Further, they even tried bribing one of the U.S. lawsuits by paying $61,000 in bitcoin for providing confidential information about the investigation.

As of now, the Justice Department has issued arrest warrants for both men and has begun its investigation on this matter. Though, in this investigation, the accused didn’t mention the company’s name. Yet, the lawful records correspond to Huawei’s description.

Consequently, the whole scenario has added one more allegation against Huawei from U.S. officials. So far, this is one of the third cases announced yesterday by U.S. government officials.

Additionally, the Department of Justice announced two more cases that again involve Chinese unlawful situations for harassing international regulations.

Merrick Garland’s words on this matter

Showing aggression on this matter, the US attorney-general, Merrick Garland said the following statement:

“The government of China sought to interfere with the rights and freedoms of individuals in the United States and to undermine our judicial system that protects those rights, they did not succeed.”

Apart from this case, Merrick also announced charges against four more Chinese accused persons for using sensitive technology and equipment to interfere with U.S. essential properties and services.

The conflicts between Huawei and U.S. have taken a long duration. In 2020, the Department of Justice accused Huawei of harming US technologies and stealing trade secrets of industries. Despite such allegations, Huawei has pleaded not guilty.

In this Operation Fox Hunt case, Huawei hasn’t said any word till now. Let’s see what new steps the U.S. officials will take in this investigation ahead.
