Ja Morant had something to say after one referee explained why the Grizzlies star was ejected.

Ja Morant starred in a very controversial moment on Saturday night, as he was ejected from the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game after addressing some fans. 

This wasn't like Draymond Green going at it with Milwaukee Bucks fans, but instead, Ja was being encouraged by some fans who attended the game and wanted him to lift up his level and the Grizzlies. At the time, they were down 20 points, and some fans tried to hype up Morant. 

Referees didn't like the response he gave to these fans and ejected him from the game. Ja still kept talking with the fans but using a different method. He FaceTimed them and kept talking with the help of his father.

Following the game, everybody wanted to know what happened with Ja, and the crew chief explained why they made this curious decision. 

“Morant was assessed his second technical foul for making a comment questioning the integrity of the officials.”

Ja wasn't having any of this and replied on Twitter, calling out official John Goble over it. He said it was 'cap' with another curious image. 

The Grizzlies couldn't do much against the Oklahoma City Thunder, losing the game 115-109. Ja finished the game with 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists, unable to help his team make the comeback that these fans wanted to see so much. 

Memphis remains the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference despite this result, and they're ready to keep dominating. After a disappointing exit in the 2022 NBA playoff, now the young team is ready to be better. 

Ja Morant will be crucial for their aspirations, but if he keeps getting these calls, things will be hard for the Grizzlies. The point guard has been compared to a big legend like Allen Iverson, and he hopes to lead his squad to the Finals, just like AI did with the Philadelphia 76ers.
