The Joel Embiid and James Harden duo keeps making noise around the NBA, dominating rivals after a rocky start to the 2022-23 season. The Sixers didn't look like a championship-caliber team, but right now, they're one of the hottest squads around the association.

They were selected to play on Christmas this year against the New York Knicks, and the Sixers didn't disappoint, extending their winning streak to 8 games after defeating the Knicks, who were on a good run too. Coming off a big win against the Los Angeles Clippers, they are keeping a good pace.

Embiid and Harden once again stole the show and sealed the deal for the Sixers. With a 120-112 win over the Knickerbockers, they keep the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference but get closer to the top spots in the leaderboard.

Joel Embiid And James Harden Put On A Show On Christmas

Embiid went off with 35 points and 8 rebounds, while Harden posted 29 points to go along with 4 rebounds and 13 assists. These numbers are great for the Sixers, who are showing that they're ready to compete against the top dogs in the East and beat anybody.

Following the match, many fans reacted to this incredible performance by Embiid and Harden. Some named them the best tandem in the league, and others tried to dismiss their good displays.

Embiid and Harden and ready to lead this team to compete for big things, and this season appears to be the one for them in terms of urgency. After a painful exit last season, they're ready to bounce back and show the world that this duo can do big things.

Harden is playing at a great level right now, acting like a playmaker and facilitating things for his teammates. Embiid is doing his thing too, and if he keeps this level, we could be seeing this team making a deep playoff run next year. However, we still need to wait to see how the Sixers play the rest of the season. Harden is reportedly interested in returning to Houston if things don't work in Philly, but there's still hope for the Sixers.
