Zach LaVine has been mentioned in many trade rumors around the NBA in recent days. The shooting guard isn't having the best time in Chicago and could be close to leaving the 6-time NBA champions soon.

LaVine is a sought-after player after everything he's done with the Bulls since being traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now, he's an All-Star and could be joining a stronger team if the front office decides to blow it up.

The Los Angeles Lakers have been mentioned among the candidates to take LaVine, but nothing is official right now. The player is in a big predicament right now since the communication with the Bulls has decreased dramatically

Zach LaVine Is Interested In Playing For The Lakers

The Lakers have shown interest in him, according to recent reports, and it seems like the interest is mutual, as the player is reportedly keen to join the Purple and Gold. According to an Eastern Conference executive, Zach wants to go to the 17-time NBA champions.

“A full rebuild kind of thing, that is not going to happen this year, but they could get started on it,” an Eastern Conference executive told Heavy Sports. “They’re not going to trade away Zach LaVine during the season. They will have an easier time with moving on from DeMar DeRozan if that is where they go but even that, it is something they would wait until the summer to do, rather than try to pull off a move at the deadline.

“LaVine wants to go to the Lakers, that has been pretty clear for a while now. The agents (from Klutch Sports) want him to be in Los Angeles, he is a UCLA guy and they did some rattling about his contract last offseason, to kind of lay the groundwork if things blew up. Which they seem to be doing.”

This would be a great move for the Lakers, but right now, nothing is official. After Anthony Davis went down with an injury, the Purple and Gold need to make a move to save the season, but the front office is studying their options before doing anything.
