Stephen Curry is as elite a shooter as they come, there has never been anyone like him in NBA history. The Golden State Warriors stuck by Curry after his early injury issues, and it paid off big time, he became MVP, a 4-time champion, and even won a Finals MVP. His legacy is set in stone, coined and minted, simply something that cannot be questioned by anyone.

Stephen Curry's legacy will always be linked to what he has done in the NBA. He is a certified Hall Of Famer, and his influence on the game is visible in the way the league plays today. He has changed things with his range, becoming the face of the three-point shooting era, with young players even copying his celebrations and moves. So it's fun to think about how the man will be remembered.

Stephen Curry Opens Up On How He Will Be Remembered

Stephen Curry is someone that will be talked about for ages to come, his abilities, his game, and, more importantly, his leadership. Stephen Curry is a role model on the court and off of it, and while many people will remember him for different things, the man himself spoke to Bob Myers about how he would like it to be.

(starts at 36:00 minutes)

"There's this clip, when I was a rookie or a second-year guy, it was one of those confessional type cameras. I think it was one of the All-Star games and they asked that question. And I think I said, I wanna be known as a true professional, someone that approached the game the right way, played hard every night, hopefully win a championship or something, I think that was my line. Checked a lot of the boxes off.

"But continuing to live that out, getting everything out of the game that I can, I did not realize how much of an agent for change I could be off the court. With the ability to speak on certain things, to partner with and get to know amazing leaders throughout society that you can help amplify their stories. Provide so many resources to the causes near and dear to your heart.

"Being very intentional about that, never knew about that. So that's something, the way I'm moving off the court. To kinda have the entities that I'm setting up last longer than the ball's bouncing on the court. To live that out, because there's a lot of good that's come out of me."

It's just like Stephen Curry to think about the people he's helping more than what he's done on the court. He has always been a man that cares and is about family and people, so that aspect of him will surely always be remembered. His work speaks for itself, but so does the person that he has blossomed into. A true legend.
