Russell Westbrook is definitely one of the best point guards of his generation. The former NBA MVP has done incredible things on the court, becoming a terrific point guard in the league and the triple-double king.

However, things haven’t been that well for the Los Angeles Lakers point guard, as he’s been heavily criticized for his level during his first season with the Purple and Gold. Westbrook's name has been mentioned in trade rumors, and perhaps the way he's acted in recent games can accelerate his exit from the Lakers.

The veteran playmaker also has a big character, and amid a series of trade rumors and more bad comments about his game, the sixth man reportedly exchanged words with Ham.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the two had a heated exchange on the bench. While Ham voiced his frustration with Russ' behavior, the point guard didn't hold back either, and things got a little tense between them.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook and coach Darvin Ham had a brief, heated verbal exchange in the locker room during halftime of Tuesday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources told ESPN.

Ham reportedly didn't like the way Westbrook acted after he was subbed out of the match, which led to this incident.

Ham expressed frustration with how Westbrook lingered on the playing floor after getting subbed out of the game late in the second quarter.

Voices were raised in the locker room, but discussion turned back to trying to win the game against the Thunder, sources said.

Fortunately, things calmed down and they both refocused on the game, making it clear they were all about winning and nothing else. The Lakers couldn't win against the Thunder, which brought their record to 25-30, still ranking 13th in the Western Conference. While LeBron had a terrific night, the rest of the team didn't enjoy the game that much, Anthony Davis included.
