The Golden State Warriors are one of those teams that can never be counted out until the final game of the season is played. Over the last few weeks, the Warriors have once again proven that. Led by none other than Stephen Curry, the Dubs have managed to win four out of their last five games.

They are now on a 3-game winning streak and have a record of 26-24. The record places them in the 5th spot in the Western Conference. Curry has continued to impress everyone as he recently broke another record held by none other than the legendary Wilt Chamberlain.

Stephen Curry Clearly Tells The Misconception Around NBA Stars Relying On Load Management

Stephen Curry is one of the few superstars in the NBA, who is immensely popular around the globe. So when a problem arises around other fellow NBA stars, Curry is quick to defend them or clear the air about the situation.

One such topic that Steph picked recently was the criticism of NBA players about load management in recent years. Curry clearly explained that it's never in the hands of the players to decide whether they want to play or not.

"I usually campaign to play every game. That’s the misconception about load management and how it goes. It’s never the player that is usually saying, ‘Hey, I want to sit.’ So, for all those people that are worried about that part of our league, it’s usually not the player that is going to the training staff and saying, ‘Hey, I don’t have it tonight.’ It’s usually the other way around. There’s a lot of science involved.”

The issue of NBA players' load management amidst back-to-back games has ballooned up in the last few years. But as per Steph, that's far from the truth. Sure, there can be a few occasions when a player genuinely needs rest, but according to Curry, it's usually the other way around.
