Huawei P30 Pro receiving February 2023 update

Woah! Huawei is rolling out February 2023 software update for the Huawei P30 Pro flagship in the global market. This is something new for the smartphone but there’s also a curiosity about a bug fix.

Huawei P30 Pro users are looking forward to this upgrade not only as a security improvement but as a camera bug fix. Yes, we’re talking about the camera focus issue that persistently appears on the camera.

We are yet to get feedback on this matter, which we may receive as soon as the upgrade began to expand to more users.

According to Huaweiblog, the February 2023 security update for the Huawei P30 Pro comes with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.149. However, the update package size is relatively low at 210 megabytes.

Still, it’s an initial rollout and began to rollout in Europe, as it will expand gradually in the coming weeks. So, tune into the Settings menu to check for the software update manually.

EMUI 13:

In the meantime, Huawei is conducting a wide mobile business showcase at MWC 2023. There are several smartphones available in the demo area including Mate 50 series and Nova 10 series.

But the wait for EMUI 13 continues, as Huawei has not revealed any of the details about a new EMUI version for the global models. These phones including Huawei P30 series users are waiting for a major software upgrade.

Aside from these, we suggest Huawei P30 Pro owners back up important files to prevent unwanted data loss. Furthermore, the update package will be deleted right after a successful installation.

Huawei P30 Pro

Huawei P30 Pro comes with an amazing full-view display with a waterdrop notch with a curved design. This flagship is powered by a powerful Kirin 980 chipset. Also, it is the first smartphone to bring Periscope and quad cameras.

Huawei P30 Pro is the best Huawei flagship ever and the company keeps on sending new firmware for this important device.
