Ja Morant is the talk of the town in the NBA right now, as the Memphis Grizzlies' star has been suspended for flashing a gun on Instagram Live, as well as others controversies.

Ja's controversial run isn't new, and a recent report claims he was already being investigated in September after clashing with a high school.

"According to a Germantown Police Dept. report, the interaction between the teenager and the Memphis Grizzlies point guard happened at Houston H.S. in Tennessee on Sept. 22 at around 7:10 PM.

"In the docs, police say at an after-school volleyball game, Morant's sister -- who attends Houston H.S. -- got into a verbal argument with another student."

This TMZ Sports report also adds that Ja's sister and another student got into an altercation and the B-word was thrown back and forth, but Morant was called to intervene in this situation. Following this call, "Ja, Ja's mom and dad, Ja's baby daughter and "a group of" adult males" showed up at the school to defend the Morant's sister.

Morant and his group tried to get close to this student, but police stood in their way. However, one of the people accompanying the player got past the officials and got to the other student, allegedly slapping a phone out of a student's hand and threatening to harm them.

"I don't care about none of that, I will beat y'alls ass," this person allegedly said.

This incident ended with everybody leaving the high school gym without doing anything else, although the police did investigate Ja for simple assault and intimidation. No charges were ever filed against him.

Colorado Police Closes Investigation On Ja Morant

Following his gun incident, the Colorado police launched an investigation into Ja Morant, but they recently announced the ending of that. In a statement, they revealed that not enough evidence was found to press charges against Ja while also saying that they couldn't find a gun.

This is great news for Morant, who remains away from his team but could be back eventually. The NBA is still investigating him, and fans are waiting to see what's next for Ja, who has made a lot of headlines recently and not for the best reasons.
