Huawei Band 8 and Xiaomi Band 8 are ready for collision

Today, Huawei officially announced that Huawei Band 8 will launch on April 17 and Xiaomi will also unveil Xiaomi Band 8 a day after on April 18. So, this is going to be a major collision between these two smart bands.

Before we dive into the details, you should know that Huawei Band 8 and Xiaomi Band 8 focus on different types of consumers. In that case, you can observe them in a relative manner.

This new band product is fashion-centric and Xiaomi has cleared any doubt with the teaser image. It shows that the design and appearance are the main focus. While the frame appears to be made of metal in some variants and has an increased corner radius.

The Xiaomi Band 8 brings a detachable strap and there are several fashion-oriented options of metal, leather, and more. Compared to this, the Band 7 brought in a single strap mechanism.

The Band 8 has a new frame, which is flat from all sides and it’s aesthetically superior to Huawei Band 7. The frame is organized to provide strong support to the screen. In the front, the bezels are pushed to the very corners. Thus providing you with an enhanced viewing experience.

The display appears to be brighter than the predecessor and has new watch faces matching the variant. Speaking of which, the strap consists of small details. Overall, Huawei Band 8 is a perfect upgrade over Band 7.
