Draymond Green Addressed The 'Frustrating' Refereeing In Game 3 Loss

The Golden State Warriors suffered another setback when they lost against the Los Angeles Lakers embarrassingly in Game 3. 

The Warriors lost by 30 points, and neither of the Lakers' superstars had to have a monster game either. There was a pretty big discrepancy in free throws yet again, the Lakers took 20 more than the Warriors. And after the game, Draymond Green wasn't kind when talking about the officiating. 

“The game stopped. We on the free-throw line every time,” Green said when asked what happened in the second quarter when the Warriors lost 18-36.

Green was then asked if he was satisfied with the way that the referees called the game. He said, "It is what it is. Game over now. Don’t matter if I’m satisfied or… don’t matter." He had a one-word answer about the state of the refereeing in general, calling it, "Frustrating."

Draymond Green had more personal fouls than he did points, rebounds, or assists in the game. It's natural to see why he would complain about the referees, but that is a bad showing by any standards. He got roasted ruthlessly when fans saw his stats, Draymond needs to play a lot better if the Warriors want to get past LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Stephen Curry Isn't Too Worried About The Warriors Just Yet

The Golden State Warriors haven't lost a series that isn't the NBA Finals since 2015, the team has always rolled through the Western Conference. But the Lakers look dangerous, and LeBron James is just as much of a force as the Warriors are in the playoffs. The frustration caused by the fear of potential loss can get to the best teams, but it would seem that Stephen Curry isn't feeling it very much. 

"That's kind of the nature of a playoff series, especially because of how drastically different we play," Curry told reporters after the game. "We'll respond -- got a lot of confidence in our ability to do that and it's why you play the game."

Stephen Curry knows that the Warriors have what it takes to respond in Game 4 and even up the series. As long as they don't get too caught up in normal issues like the officiating, they should be perfectly fine. All attention will now be on the crucial Game 4, the Warriors can't afford to lose it.
