This time, he wasn't on his Instagram profile, but one of his friends showed him flashing the gun. Of course, this didn't sit well with anybody, and the Memphis Grizzlies have suspended the player.
"We are aware of the social media video involving Ja Morant. He is suspended from all team activities pending league review. We have no further comment at this time," a statement shared by the team reads.
The 2022 MIP award winner was caught on Instagram Live flashing a gun a couple of months ago. After being suspended by the team, he went to counseling and vowed to act better. However, that promise didn't last long and Ja is once again involved in controversy.
The Grizzlies appear to be leaving the biggest decision regarding this situation to the league. The NBA knows they are a business and having a good image is mandatory. Ja is one of the future faces of the competition and if he can't act right, things won't end well for him.
After the season ended, the player said he'd act better since he knew the impact he had on others. Well, anything has changed now and the player could be in serious trouble soon.
