Steve Kerr Defends Klay Thompson Taking Bad Shots: "When He Had 38 In Oklahoma City In Game 6, A Lot Of Those Were Really Bad Shots"

Klay Thompson had a terrible Game 4 against the Los Angeles Lakers, providing little to no help to Stephen Curry, who also struggled to make his shots but still manage to get 31 points for the night.

After going 3-11 from the field and 3-9 from the 3-point line, Thompson received a lot of criticism. However, Steve Kerr came in his defense (just like Draymond Green), making it clear that he will live (and die) with Klay taking bad shots.

"[Thompson's] going to take some bad ones, and so is Steph [Curry], and that’s OK," Kerr said on 95.7 The Game's "Willard & Dibs." "Ideally, you want guys taking good shots every time down the floor, but when Klay had 38 in Oklahoma City in Game 6, a lot of those were really bad shots and [he] made them, and that’s the only reason we won. What you get from Klay is the swash-buckling attitude, that aggressiveness, the confidence, and part of that package is some bad shots. And hey, you live with that."

When you're somebody as talented as Klay Thompson, you can afford to take some bad shots. Some will sink, others won't. The player remains confident in his talents and he knows he'll have revenge soon. The Warriors are now 3-1 down against the Los Angeles Lakers and must win tonight's game at Chase Center.

A lot has been said about 'Game 6 Klay' and it all started with that performance, so you know that was crucial for both the player and his team.

Klay Thompson And Jordan Poole Failed To Help Warriors Win In Game 4

Game 4 was terrible for Klay, who only scored nine points in 41 minutes of action. The Lakers took advantage of his terrible performance to take a commanding 3-1 lead, and putting the Warriors in a complex position.

Now, it's time to wake up for him, as the Dubs need a win desperately to extend their season. It won't be easy, but this team gets stronger at home. Jordan Poole also failed to make an impact and now is on the receiving end of criticism.

The Warriors are ready to make a statement, but they'll face a difficult rival that will do everything in their power to stop them from winning.
