Watch: Darvin Ham Hilariously Attempts To Block Jordan Poole's Potential Game-Tying Shot

The Los Angeles Lakers coach played his part in taking a hilarious shot at Poole trying to block his game-winner.

Darvin Ham pulled off a move right out of Star Wars when he attempted to perhaps use the Force to block Jordan Poole's game-winning shot during Game 1 of the Western Conference playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers. 

When Poole pulled up to drain a three from the left, Ham was seen attempting to block the shot with a smile on his face. The Golden State Warriors guard missed it, and the rest was history as the Lakers took a 1-0 lead with a 117-112 win at the Chase Center on Tuesday.

While the move by itself makes for a comical watch, it remains to be seen if there would be any investigation. On the other hand, it's worth noting that Ham wasn't anywhere close to Poole to have been a massive distraction. In the worst-case scenario, Ham could be slapped with a fine.

But surely, the Lakers wouldn't be complaining about their Jedi coach.

How Costly Was Jordan Poole's Miss?

To answer that question in one word, massive. Not only did the Warriors miss a shot at winning, but they also now find themselves in the same spot as their first-round skirmish against the Kings, where they lost the first game.

Also dejected at the miss was Stephen Curry who had played his part with 27 points. The video of him with his hands on his knees and his face, a picture of disappointment went viral soon after Poole's miss.

Poole may have been a rising star, but his tendency to be erratic has had some questions fired at him in recent times. Earlier Colin Cowherd took a shot at the guard on his podcast.

"If you think Jordan Poole is a great player, you don't know basketball," said Colin Cowherd. "When you watch him on the floor, he is so bad defensively. In the second half, I thought he cost them the game. On a pretty regular basis, Steve Kerr and Draymond Green call him out... You can't let role players have huge huge games... It's a problem." 

The Warriors and Poole will look to put the Game 1 loss in the rearview mirror and gear up for the second skirmish. Only time will tell if they can indeed bounce back.
