A Fan Believes Kobe Bryant Staring Down The Celtics' Superteam Is The Coldest Image In The NBA

Kobe Bryant looking unfazed at Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and the rest of the Boston Celtics superteam will surely make a case as one of the coldest images in NBA history.

And that staredown by Kobe, for one of the fans wins the contest for the coldest image in the league.

Responding to a tweet that asked for the most chilling picture, a Lakers fan, presumably, picked Kobe taking on the 2008 Boston superteam.

Never one to back down from a challenge, Kobe was one of those players who would get in his opponent's faces and prove his point. With the Lakers vs. Celtics adorning the 2008 and the 2010 NBA Finals, the Black Mamba was up against one of the more formidable teams in the league.

While the Celtics got the better of Kobe and the Lakers in 2008, the Purple and Gold bounced back with a payback win in 2010. The series went down the wire, and in the end, LA prevailed 4-3 and Kobe won Finals MVP after averaging 28.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.

The staredown showed he meant business, and Kobe taking on the Celtics superteam by not bowing an inch will surely be one of the ice-cold images in league history.

Kendrick Perkins Was Glad That Kobe Bryant Won His Fifth NBA Championship In 2010

As disappointed as former Boston Celtics star Kendrick Perkins was when the Lakers beat them in 2010, he was happy for Kobe Bryant for winning his fifth ring.

"Kobe was 6-of-24 that game, but this was how bad he wanted it. Every team that won their game in that series won the rebounding battle. Kobe had 15 m***********g rebounds at the two-guard position. That's another testimony to his greatness. Because people always think everybody wants to talk about the scoring, but in that game, he was off, but he would do whatever it takes to win. I have no what if's. I'm glad he got his fifth."

Perkins was been sidelined in the game, but he did make a valid case. Kobe wanted the win so badly that he looked for another way to make an impact for the Lakers, and it ended with him winning his fifth NBA championship, which would also be his last.
