George Karl Blasts Skip Bayless For Criticizing Nikola Jokic After Game 2: "This Man Is An Embarrassment To Sports Media"

Skip Bayless has unfortunately become one of the most well-known talking heads on sports television over the years thanks to him hating on LeBron James and his ridiculous takes, in general.

Bayless was at it after Game 2 of the NBA Finals as he claimed Nikola Jokic lucked into a big night and called him a "Big tub of Crisco." It was an awful take and former NBA head coach George Karl blasted Bayless for it.

"This man is an embarrassment to sports media."

You don't get lucky and score 41 points in a Finals game as the Serbian did here. Anyone who has watched Jokic over the years will tell you how great he is at making difficult shots and the Los Angeles Lakers found that out the hard way in the Conference Finals.

Jokic was simply phenomenal here in Game 2, as he went 16-28 from the field while also registering 11 rebounds and 4 assists. He has been on an absolute tear in these playoffs and there was nothing lucky about that performance.

Nikola Jokic Has Received A Lot Of Praise From Ex-Players

While Bayless has been critical of Jokic for a while now, former NBA players have nothing but praise for the big man. Shaquille O'Neal showered him with praise after Game 1 while Paul Pierce said he is on the most incredible Finals run in history. Mark Jackson on commentary went as far as to say Jokic is now a top-10 big man in NBA history.

While Jokic was incredible in this game, the same cannot be said about his supporting cast. No one else on the team even scored 20 points, as Jamal Murray only had 18 while Michael Porter Jr. had 5. The Denver Nuggets aren't going to win the championship if these two continue to play like this and you'd expect much more from them moving forward.
