Scottie Pippen Once Dissed LeBron James When Asked To Pick Between Him And Michael Jordan: "I Wouldn't Take LeBron To The Movies With Me"

In the recent debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan, many people have begun to support James, including Scottie Pippen. But that wasn't the case just a few years ago when Pippen dissed LeBron when asked the question. 

"That's a dumb f**king question," Pippen had said. "I would take LeBron or Michael? I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies with me."

The interview was a few years ago, so one might wonder what has changed between now and then. For one, the Last Dance documentary came out, and it seems to have rubbed Pippen the wrong way. The documentary focused a lot on Michael Jordan and how he led the Bulls to all those championships, leading Pippen to feel slighted. 

That's not all that has happened, either. In a wild turn of events, Scottie Pippen's now ex-wife Larsa has started a relationship with Marcus Jordan, Michael's son. That has surely added to the animosity between the two, even though Marcus and Larsa are independent individuals that can make any choice. 

Scottie Pippen picked Michael Jordan over LeBron James pretty consistently before these things happened. However, he seems to have gone completely to the other side now, as shown by his recent controversial comments about MJ. 

“LeBron James will be the greatest statistical guy to ever play the game of basketball. There's no comparison to him... I've seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls... [Michael Jordan] was a horrible player. He was horrible to play with. He was all 1 on 1, he was shooting bad shots."

It's hard to tell what is going on with Scottie Pippen at the moment, but it is evident that he has burned bridges with his former Bulls colleagues, including Jordan and Phil Jackson.
