Victor Wembanyama Reveals He Had Dinner With Tim Duncan David Robinson And Manu Ginobili

The Victor Wembanyama era is officially underway in San Antonio, and everybody is celebrating this moment. People in San Antonio can't be happier about this, especially Gregg Popovich.

Wembanyama is already sharing big moments with his new team and recently went to dinner with three huge legends of the Spurs. The player revealed he had dinner with Tim Duncan, David Robinson, and Manu Ginobili. With all due respect to the rest of the Spurs legends, these are the most important players in franchise history.

"Honestly, that was one of the best dinners of my life," Wembanyama said. "And not because of the food. The food was good. But the people was crazy."

He praised the three legends for their willingness to guide him and offer him advice on the team, and the league.

"In probably a couple of hours, I learned more about the NBA than in my whole life. And it's such comforting to see that these people who are so important to the city of San Antonio and to the franchise are such kind people, and generous. Because they genuinely wanted to share with me their experience," Wembanyama said.

Having the opportunity to have dinner with these people is a dream for many Spurs fans around the world. Wemby had the chance to spend time and learn from them, as everybody wants to be in the best position to start his NBA career.

He's really happy to be on this team, and the city of San Antonio embraced him even before the draft. Everything points out that Wemby will mark his era on this team, and the Spurs Nation is all in on that.

Victor Wembanyama Is Already Showing His Humble Side

The Frenchman has shown he has the type of personality that makes him invaluable in San Antonio. While being asked about putting together an alien team to defend Earth, Wemby refused to include him.

This caused doubts, but he made it clear he hadn't done anything in comparison to the players he selected for this hypothetical squad.

Wembanyama is already a rockstar in San Antonio, but he's not letting that get into his head. The next step for him will be playing in the Summer League, where many people will flood the stands to see him play.
