Bradley Beal Outlines His Goals With The Phoenix Suns Next Season

  • Bradley Beal wants to play in meaningful playoff games next season
  • He has shared his desire to become an All-Star and All-NBA selection once again
  • Bradley Beal believes his teammates can help him reach that level

The Phoenix Suns are arguably the team to watch from a neutral perspective next season. And that is largely thanks to their acquisition of Bradley Beal and the creation of a new Big 3.

Bradley Beal has spoken about how comfortable he feels with his new team already, and in a recent interview, he outlined his goals for the coming season with his new team.

"Oh man, it’s tough. I haven’t really thought about my own goals yet, but I would say the biggest individual piece is getting back to being one of the best two-way players in the league," he told Slam Magazine.

"Showing that I can really compete at a high level and play a meaningful game. You know, playing in the playoffs, winning in the playoffs, advancing past rounds.

"Granted, I wanna get back to my All-Star level of play. I really believe that that’s who I am: All-NBA guy, All-Star guy. And I have a good group that can push me to be that every single day."

At 30 years of age, Beal is hardly out of his prime, he still has a lot left in the tank. He has shown the ability to average 30 points per game in the NBA, and while he won't get as many touches on the Suns, he will surely be expected to score efficiently.

Bradley Beal has never been known as a defensive star, but with the offensive load being shared in Phoenix, he will have the energy to lock in on that end. If he can get back to the form that made him a 3-time All-Star, the Suns will be tough for anyone to deal with next season.

Bradley Beal Already Has A Plan For How To Play Alongside Kevin Durant And Devin Booker

Playing alongside two of the league's best and most efficient scorers could be seen as an issue for Beal, who is a scorer himself. But he already has an idea of how he will mesh with his co-stars

"In terms of our balance, we’ve talked subtly about how this thing can work. We know it won’t be easy. It’ll be a challenge, but the biggest thing is understanding [that our] one goal at the end of the day is winning. You know, we’re all gonna have our own individual goals, but I think the beauty about our group is that we’re so unselfish."

Bradley Beal was the man in Washington for a few years, but now he has to buy in and be a true team player to help the team achieve their goals. Whether he has it in him to do that, only time will tell.
