Though Kevin Durant is viewed as a key member of the Golden State Warriors dynasty, he ended up leaving the franchise in 2019 free agency, choosing to join the Brooklyn Nets instead. 

Part of the reason Kevin Durant left the Golden State Warriors was due to an altercation with Draymond Green, where Green refused to pass Durant the ball in the waning moments of a game against the Los Angeles Clippers. That led to the two arguing and swearing at one another. When speaking about the incident, Durant revealed that he started isolating himself after that happened.

"For him to say that kind of s**t to me, it just threw me for a loop. I just started isolating myself after that... nobody really talked about it, it was just swept under the rug, and to me, it was just like we can move past this, but let's all talk about it."

This response from Kevin Durant is absolutely fair, and this is one of those things that should absolutely be addressed by the team, rather than being left out in the open without being talked about. It is easy to see why he decided to keep to himself after the incident and left the team in free agency.
