"We Never See KD Dance" - NBA Fans React To Kevin Durant Dancing On The Floor

  • Kevin Durant is a 2x NBA champion
  • Durant's basketball skills do not translate to the dance floor
  • Durant and the Phoenix Suns have the fourth-best odds of winning the 2023-24 NBA championship

Kevin Durant might be a 2x NBA champion, a 2x Finals MVP, and an MVP winner, but there's one thing KD can't do, and that's dance. A video hit Instagram where Durant showed off his dance moves, and it's safe to say he's no Michael Jackson.

Durant appeared to be at a wedding, and his dancing rightfully caught the attention of everyone. The entire party stood around and watched Durant dance with another party-goer, and fans were very critical of the 3x champions' dance skills.

One fan wrote: I’d be scared as sh*t if KD started dancing beside me 😂

Another wrote: His neck finna break like when Jayson Tatum faked him out

This fan wrote: Of course, his lanky ahh would dance like that

This fan poked fun of Durant's injury history: Watch out he might roll his ankle again

It seems like whatever Durant does, social media will be quick to clown him. Durant, however, has made it known plenty of times that he doesn't care. So dance, Kevin, dance!

This was not the only time Durant showcased his dance skills to the world. He famously dances in the hallway before entering the court.

Durant might struggle with his dance moves, but you can not take anything away from his basketball skills. So far in his 15-year career, Durant has won four NBA scoring titles.

There's no doubt that KD is one of the greatest scorers in NBA history, and he's a proven winner. The Golden State Warriors may have won 73 games in the 2015-16 season, yet they couldn't win the title.

The Warriors were unbeatable when Durant joined, as long as he was healthy. Durant's two Finals MVP awards also prove he was the team's best player, even over Stephen Curry.

Durant hasn't been the same since leaving the Golden State Warriors, but the 2023-24 season is looking promising for Durant. Now, as a member of the Phoenix Suns, Durant has a lot of talent around him and a great chance at winning it all.

Will Durant deliver a title to Phoenix?

The Suns Look Like A True Contender For The 2024 NBA Championship

The Phoenix Suns made a big splash this offseason when they acquired veteran scorer Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards. Even with the core of Durant, Beal, and Devin Booker, the Suns are not the favorites to win the 2023-24 NBA title.

The Suns have a great shot at winning the title, but the current favorites are undoubtedly the defending champion, the Denver Nuggets. As long as Nikola Jokic is still on the Nuggets, playing in his prime, Denver has to be the favorite.

Still, if any team can match and even surpass what Denver has when it comes to firepower, it's the Suns, led by Durant himself. Last season, Durant averaged 29.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 47 games.

Durant will need to stay on the floor longer in the upcoming season, as the Suns need him to play close to the 82-game schedule. This is something he's only done once in his career.

With a full training camp to get ready, Durant and the Suns could easily win the NBA title, as Durant is arguably the best player in the league when healthy.

Durant has had seasons where he's averaged 32.0 points per game. We've seen Durant average 8.0 rebounds per game in a season, and as a member of the Warriors, Durant became a solid defensive player.

On the Suns, Durant has the luxury of not having to be the team's number one scorer, as he's surrounded by scoring talent. Devin Booker averaged 27.8 points per game last season while also having a 70-point game against the Boston Celtics in 2017.

Bradley Beal has had two seasons averaging over 30 points per game, including 31.3 points in the 2020-21 season. So, the offense is covered. What Durant needs to do is get back to the dominant defensive ways he's shown as a Warrior.

Will Durant bounce back and lead the Suns to an NBA title this season? Durant sure will have a great chance, and maybe we'll see Durant win the second MVP award in his Hall of Fame career.
