No matter how the next few months pan out for Miami, the competition will be ready to give them their best and it will be up to 34-year-old Jimmy Butler to channel his inner Michael Jordan as he did against the Bucks and Knicks in the Eastern Conference playoffs. That's not to mention that their biggest flaws from the last campaign, especially offensively, remain unaddressed heading into the new season.

Regardless of what happens next, with much of the main core now nearing their late 30s, the window is closing for this version of the Heat. If they don't capitalize on their star power now, then they could lose their best chance to win a ring with this group. For now, confidence is strong in South Beach but things could go wrong very quickly if Bam, Jimmy, or anyone else in the rotation suffers any kind of setback.
