Every Time LeBron James Wins A Championship, Kevin Durant Creates A Superteam
One NBA fan has presented a big argument against Kevin Durant and in favor of LeBron James, pointing out that whenever the King wins a title, KD’s teams made bold moves to stop the 4x NBA champion. It happened in the past and it’s happening this season, too.
Instagram account @LBJPosters recently shared a post showing how Durant created a superteam right after LeBron James won the NBA championship. It happened in 2016 after the King returned from a 3-1 deficit against the Golden State Warriors. KD joined the Dubs and won two consecutive titles against LeBron and his Cleveland Cavaliers.

Moreover, the same thing is happening this season. After James won the 2020 NBA championship, the Brooklyn Nets made a blockbuster 4-team trade to land James Harden, one of the best offensive players in the league. Last week, they added another big name in veteran Blake Griffin, who spent the last three years with the Detroit Pistons. The big man is a very valuable addition to the Nets and a lot of people didn’t like his signing with the New Yorkers.
Of course, NBA fans reacted to this point, with some agreeing with the post while others made the case for KD, even claiming he was scared of another player, not LeBron James.
The Nets haven’t had their Big 3 together for many games this season and Durantula is actually sidelined right now. The former Thunder and Warrior is dealing with a hamstring injury and his return to the floor is still unclear. Griffin is going through the same process and the Nets are patiently waiting for him.
Meanwhile, James Harden and Kyrie Irving are leading the team to win their first two games of the second half of the season. LeBron James added a big figure in Anthony Davis in 2019 and he’s been struggling without the Brow by his side.
At the end of the day, everybody needs a little help to win championships but some fans consider some players have had too much help in recent years.
