NBA Players React After Jayson Tatum Drops 60 Points In Comeback Win

The Boston Celtics have had a pretty up-and-down season. With amazing highs and miserable lows, things have certainly not been easy for the up-and-coming Eastern threats.

But tonight, Celtics fans celebrated after their biggest star, Jayson Tatum, dropped 60 points (tied for the franchise record) in a 32-point comeback against the Spurs.

All over Twitter, people were raving about the performance, including fans, media members, and players.

All in all, it was a historic performance for Tatum, who showed tonight why he's among the greatest young players in the game.

Of course, the Celtics star has been putting on a show all year long. This season, he's averaging 25.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game on 45.5% shooting. He also made his second straight All-Star appearance.

As for Boston, they've still got a ways to go before they're knocking anyone out of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Inconsistent play and poor chemistry have resulted in a rocky campaign, and there is no quick fix.

But with Tatum (alongside Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker), the Celtics will always be relevant, and they'll always have a chance. We'll see how far they'll be able to go soon enough, and if this latest statement win will set the tone going forward.
