At 36-years-old, LeBron James continues to be among the NBA's best players. Coming off a Championship, he has averaged 25 points per game this season as the face and leader of the Lakers.

No matter your feelings on James, what he's been able to do has been impressive, and deserves a lot of praise.

“Honestly, I thought he was done," said former Lakerss star Metta World Peace. "A couple of years he was slowing down. I thought he’s going to start winding down and probably retire when he’s 40 and maybe not play as well. I didn’t know he was going to be playing this well. He’s playing extremely well. He’s going to be here for three more years (at this level). You gotta idolize that.”

Unfortunately, the "King" has already shown signs of aging. His recent high ankle sprain injury led to the longest absence of his career, and he himself even admitted he might not be the same again.

Still, LeBron has a way of combatting these injuries like we've never seen before. He takes great care of his body, spends millions on conditioning, and seems to always bounce back.

Could this season include another example of his redemptive nature, or are we really seeing the decline of his game?

Either way, you gotta give him credit for postponing Father Time the way he has.
