NBA Rumors: Zach LaVine Could Give Bulls Discount On His Contract If They Add At Least One Key Role Player

After finally making his first All-Star appearance, Zach LaVine has cemented himself as a permanent building block for the Bulls.

That alone puts Chicago in a good place, but things could get even better for them pretty soon, with the latest report indicating a golden opportunity for the franchise:

“The Sun-Times, as well as several other media outlets, reported at the start of the 2020-21 campaign that it was important for LaVine to be given max money moving forward.

However, there are several sources who said that might not be the case any longer, as adding key role players around him could persuade LaVine to give the Bulls a slight discount.”

The Bulls have been in a pretty bad way for years now, mostly due to mismanagement by the frontoffice.

Between poor roster-building decisions, and the Jom Boylen coach fiasco, it's almost surprising to hear LaVine might be willing to show such loyalty to the franchise.

Nevertheless, they could be a team to watch out for in the future. With Zach, Nikola Vucevic, and Lauri Markkanen, they have a solid core that will only continue to get better.

If the Bulls make the right decisions this summer, it could get them another step closer in the right direction.
