There have been a lot of reports regarding Damian Lillard's current situation with the Portland Trail Blazers.

The All-NBA guard is suffering a lot of backlashes as some fans called him out for endorsing Chauncey Billups as the new coach, even though he had a history of sexual assault.

Lillard responded that he was unaware of that situation because he was still a kid at the time. But other reports claim that this might as well be just the little push he needed to force his way out of the team.

And, with the Golden State Warriors reportedly looking to add another star to their core, Lillard instantly became a name thrown away in some rumors.

Nonetheless, an NBA agent believes that even though the Warriors have enough assets to pull off a deal, Dame wouldn't be the best fit for them:

"The Warriors are the only team that can make a trade and still contend, although the fit is questionable,” an unnamed agent said, as quoted by Essentially Sports.

An unnamed former executive, though, believes that the Warriors should pull the trigger if they have the chance, as adding a scorer such as Lillard would make them unstoppable:

“The Warriors would have to do that. They’d be unstoppable," the former executive replied.

Clearly, pairing two offensive juggernauts with limitless range such as Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard would be awesome, especially with two top-notch defenders in Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

Then again, that would also require plenty of adjustments from Steve Kerr's team but, as the Brooklyn Nets proved before all the injuries, great players find the way to coexist.

Needless to say, these are only rumors at this stage and there's a big chance that Lillard won't force his way out. But should he join the Warriors, they'd be instant contenders again.
