True hoops fans have always said that Scottie Pippen is one of the greatest basketball players of all time and one of the main reasons why the Chicago Bulls were a dynasty.

Even diehard Michael Jordan fans have to acknowledge that - even though MJ was the undisputed leader and best player on the team, none of their success would have been possible without Pippen's support.

Then again, it seems like the legendary forward has always felt underappreciated. Recently, he's firing shots at, well, pretty much everybody.

That's why popular radio host Marc Silverman went to The Dan Patrick Show - where Pippen was lately - to discuss the situation:

“A lot of the times I have defended Scottie. I have fought for years on ESPN1000 about Scottie getting his due, that Scottie not being just a top 50 player but being a top 30 player, Scottie being a revolutionary player," Silverman said. “Now, all of a sudden I felt like a scorned lover. It’s really broken my heart regarding all the bitterness that he has shown.”

Silverman said that maybe the problem is Scottie, as he's reportedly had issues with everybody. He called out Michael Jordan and even said Phil Jackson was a racist:

“Maybe it’s Scottie that’s the issue here. ”He (Scottie) wants to sell Bourbon and he wants to sell books. But I just don’t think that’s a reason to go and ruin the relationships of one of the greatest teams of all time," Silverman concluded.

If this is some kind of publicity stunt, then it's definitely working. But this was unnecessary. People were interested to hear what Scottie had to say anyway.

Now, every time he speaks, it seems like fans get him off that pedestal and he's just staining an otherwise flawless and near perfect legacy.
