Huawei 4G phones with pre-installed HarmonyOS starts to pre-sale

Yesterday, Huawei hold the Huawei HarmonyOS and New Product Launch event in China to introduce the HarmonyOS 2 and a bunch of new devices including FreeBuds 4, Watch 3 Series, and others.

At the same time, the company unveils new 4G versions of Huawei smartphones working on HarmonyOS 2. These new 4G smartphones include Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Mate X2, Mate 40E, and Nova 8 Pro. To be mentioned, the nova 8 Pro doesn’t run on HarmonyOS 2.

Today, Huawei has officially opened the pre-sale for these 4G smartphones with pre-installed HarmonyOS, while the official slated for later this month. Let’s dig out the availability and pricing information of these models.

Huawei Mate X2:

The Kirin 9000 SoC 4G variant of this foldable device is available form today that features 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal memory storage.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro:

Huawei Mate 40 Pro powered by Kirin 9000 series processor is available on pre-sale. This model has two memory options of 8GB RAM with 128GB internal memory storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal memory storage.

  • Price for 128GB memory variant: 6,099 Yuan (about 900 USD)
  • Price for 256GB memory variant: 6,599 Yuan (about 1,000 USD)
  • Color Variants: Mystic Silver, White, Black, Yellow, Green
  • Official Sale: 18th June 2021

Huawei Mate 40E:

This smartphone also comes in two memory variants of 8GB RAM with 128GB onboard memory capacity and 8GB RAM with 256GB onboard memory capacity. And, the model is powered by Kirin 990E SoC.

  • Price for 128GB memory variant: 4,199 Yuan (about 600 USD)
  • Price for 256GB memory variant: 4,699 Yuan (about 700 USD)
