Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most dominant interior presence that we have seen in the NBA in recent memory. There is no one quite like him, a pure wrecking ball on his way getting to the rim. Antetokounmpo often draws double teams, and there isn't a player in the league that can fully stop him in single coverage from his assault on the rim.

The "Giannis Wall" defense usually involves a team stacking the paint, and forcing Giannis Antetokounmpo's teammates to beat them. It is obviously a frustrating defense for Giannis Antetokounmpo, as no single player wants to face multiple defenders by themselves. Giannis Antetokounmpo recently commented on that form of defense against him and stated that he doesn't enjoy it at all. (1:14)

It's funny to me there's a defense out there called a 'Giannis Wall.' It's crazy... You have to take it as a compliment... It is a compliment that there gotta be 3 people in front stopping me from getting to the paint... but yeah, I hate it. I'm not gonna lie, I hate it. But at the end of the day you have to figure out a way to play through it

There's no doubt that Giannis Antetokounmpo will face similar defensive coverage for the remainder of the Finals. However, he has shown that he can get past it, and perhaps he'll do so again.
