Hongmeng OS 2 beta rollout for Huawei P20 and Mate 10 begins
On July 13, Huawei announced the Hongmeng OS 2.0 (HarmonyOS 2) recruitment for years old Huawei P20 and Mate 10 flagship. This is surprising and will allow these device owners in China to upgrade over a new operating system from EMUI.
Now, Huawei has released the Hongmeng HarmonyOS 2 closed beta version 2.0.0.136 for the Huawei P20 and Mate 10 models. On the other hand, It’s also revealed that the no-log version will possibly be releasing later this month.
However, closed beta is still in early-stage and more users are expected to join the testing pool very soon. Yet, we’re desperately waiting to see Hongmeng HarmonyOS 2 beta testing in the global market.
Aside from Huawei P20 and Mate 10 devices, the Hongmeng OS 2 closed beta recruitment includes:
- Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design
- Huawei Nova 4
- Huawei Nova 5i
- Huawei Nova 4e
- Honor 30S
- Honor 30 Youth Edition
- Honor X10
- Honor X10 Max
- Honor Play 4
No log version:
The closed beta notice for these devices reveals that Hongmeng OS 2 for the HarmonyOS for the Huawei P20 and Mate 10 devices will be released non-log version.
Also, around 2000 users for each model will participate in the testing program and be able to review the latest operating system.
