Jayson Tatum is one of the most promising young forwards in the league. Tatum is an elite scorer, who can create his own shot against most opponents. The Boston Celtics have a bright future with him at the helm, and he has already gotten to the Eastern Conference Finals in the playoffs.

There is no question that Jayson Tatum is already an insane talent, as he made the All-NBA team during the 2019-20 season. Tatum also had a spectacular season this year, averaging 26.4 PPG, 7.4 RPG, and 4.3 APG. Isaiah Thomas believes that Jayson Tatum could potentially win the MVP in the near future. Thomas did a Twitter Q and A, where he answered a question pertaining to Tatum.

If the Boston Celtics get better as a team under Ime Udoka, there's no reason to believe that Jayson Tatum won't be in contention for MVP. He will likely improve going into next season, and he will be the undisputed No. 1 option for the team. While the Boston Celtics were inconsistent this season, perhaps the offseason moves in terms of coaching and personnel can help with their return to the top of the Eastern Conference. Perhaps we will end up seeing Jayson Tatum holding the MVP trophy in the near future, and he certainly has the talent to get there.
