While excitement (and anxiety) is rising regarding Team USA and the Tokyo Olympics, it's important to remember that the world is still at risk.

COVID-19 is still wreaking havoc around the globe, and the threat of an outbreak has not yet been eliminated.

As for Team USA specifically, concern has been raised after losing two exhibition matches early on. With questions about their chemistry and talent, nobody is sure if they're a lock for the Gold.

But with some extra time to get their act together, and shape up for the battles ahead, there is hope that their best is yet to come.

Regardless, we'll see on Sunday how this team looks, and if they're ready to go all the way.
