WhatsApp is testing a new beta version 2.21.14.6, which comes with a surprising feature and the one that has been long-awaited by WhatsApp users.
According to Wabetainfo, Whatsapp is working on a brand new feature that will allow users to select video quality to upload. In the beta app, users can upload a new video in three quality options.
- Auto (recommended): Whats will choose between best quality and data saver and apply one of these according to your connection.
- Best Quality: Will upload every video in high quality
- Data Saver: Will compress and send your uploaded video

According to the information, this feature is currently under development and will rollout with a stable version release from the chat app maker.
Last month, WhatsApp landed a number of new beta versions in its beta testing program. One of which, comes with new improvements for the multi-device feature.
WhatsApp’s multi-device feature is also anticipating and well users are awaiting the rollout of this feature. However, the chat app maker is still in progress to make the multi-device features available outside of the beta program.
