The Brooklyn Nets are landing a valuable piece in Patty Mills. The Australian guard was linked with several contenders, including the Los Angeles Lakers, before making a decision to take his talents to New York.

After spending nine years with the San Antonio Spurs, Mills was looking for a different challenge. He's proving his quality once again in the Olympic tournament, tearing rivals up with Team Australia.

Now he's headed to Brooklyn to help Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving in their quest for the NBA championship. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the deal is for two-year, worth $12 million.

Mills earned a lot of attention over the past couple of weeks, especially with his performances at the international stage. This will be a huge opportunity for him to win another championship with a team full of talent.
