Rudy Gay has found a new team in the NBA in the Utah Jazz. The veteran player spent the last four years with the San Antonio Spurs, being one of the leaders of the roster.

Although he never got to really compete with the Spurs in the Western Conference, Rudy played good basketball, earning the attention of several teams around the league. The 2020/21 league-best record Utah Jazz has picked him up in free agency, landing a very good player for their second unit.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Rudy is signing a 2-year deal with the Jazz. The contract is worth $12.1 million, Charania adds.

Just when he was linked with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Jazz made a surprising move and landed Gay, who will help them in their quest for the NBA championship. Last season, he averaged 11.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game in 63 matches with the Spurs.
