The Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the most aggressive teams in the offseason thus far, making moves left and right, improving their roster, and signing multiple veterans.

Some people have joked that the Lakers could go 82-0 in 2015 given the fact that most of their reinforcements are far from their prime.

Nonetheless, Dwight Howard seems pretty excited and optimistic about next season, as he believes that having that many talented players on the court is going to be pretty special:

“It will be crazy,” Howard told Matt Peralta of Lakers Nation. “It’s something that’s really hard to fathom, just imagine seeing all of us on the floor at the same time. Not on the All-Star team, not on the Olympic team, not for a charity game, but for an actual season, all of us will be together. So I think that’s gonna be great. All our guys are hungry, we want to win, we want to stay in the best shape as possible, so I think it’s gonna be an awesome time this year just having everybody on the floor practicing, going hard, understanding that it’s only one mission and that’s to win the championship.”

For some players, this upcoming season seems like a bit of a 'Last Dance'. We have Carmelo Anthony who's yet to make the NBA Finals, Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, and Rajon Rondo coming back to Los Angeles after winning a championship, and Russell Westbrook eager to win his first ring.

So yeah, even if their age and their health raise several concerns and red flags, you better believe that the Lakers are going to be more motivated now than ever.

They'll play with a chip on their shoulders night in and night out, and that's not the kind of team you want to bet against.
