Giannis Antetokounmpo: "I Like Being A Hunter. I Am Not The Best Player In The World... KD, LeBron, Kawhi, Luka, Curry, AD Might Be. I Am Not. I Am Still Hunting The All-Time Greats. LeBron Is Still The Best Player In The World".

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the league's reigning Finals MVP, after bringing the Milwaukee Bucks to the 2021 championship as the leading superstar on the roster. There is no question that the Milwaukee Bucks have gotten past their prior playoff woes this season. While many people believe that the Milwaukee Bucks won't repeat for another championship, they are certainly in that "contender" tier.

In the wake of the Milwaukee Bucks winning ring, many people have suggested that Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best player in the world. After all, he is a superstar that just won at the highest level.

However, Giannis Antetokounmpo himself has stated that he isn't the best player in the world while noting that he is still "hunting the All-Time greats". Antetokounmpo also added that LeBron James is the best player in the world. That is a different opinion from the one that he expressed in the playoffs, where Giannis Antetokounmpo admitted that Kevin Durant was the best player in the world. However, even in the most recent quote, he named Durant as a candidate for that position.

Harris Stavrou describes Giannis' statement as "the quote of the year" and it is definitely a powerful and compelling statement. Though Giannis Antetokounmpo is a two-time MVP and has a case for being the best, it seems as though he is paying respect to his opposition. All of the players that he mentioned have a case for the position as well, and it will certainly be interesting to see which of these superstars will set themselves apart from the rest next season.

The Milwaukee Bucks achieved a championship win as a small market, which isn't an easy feat. That road to repeating will be difficult, and it's hard to see anyone beating a fully healthy Brooklyn Nets team. However, with Giannis Antetokounmpo they'll always have a chance, and we'll see if they end up winning once again.
