The Brooklyn Nets have made a flurry of moves in recent memory. They traded DeAndre Jordan to the Detroit Pistons and signed a great contributor in Paul Millsap. It seems as though they will be getting another high-profile contributor.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN has recently revealed that LaMarcus Aldridge will be joining the Brooklyn Nets on a one-year $2.6 million deal. LaMarcus Aldridge was notably with the team last season, before abruptly retiring due to the heart issues he had. However, it seems as though he has most recently been cleared to be back on the court.

There's no doubt that LaMarcus Aldridge will be able to help the Brooklyn Nets, and he can probably play some solid minutes during the regular season. Aldridge is a great floor-spacing big man, that will be the same great fit that he was last season.

It seems as though a lot of teams geared up for championships during the offseason, and the Brooklyn Nets are clearly one of them. They will likely be viewed as favorites for the Eastern Conference with the amount of star power that is present on the roster. LaMarcus Aldridge will be a great contributor around those stars, and it's certainly exciting to see that he can still play.
