Buddy Hield has a rather complicated history in the NBA. After being drafted by New Orleans in 2016, he got traded to the Kings after 55 games, and it's where he has been ever since.

The thing is, Hield's relationship with the team can only be described as rocky, even if the 28-year-old doesn't want to admit it.

“I have no regrets and there’s nothing to be worked on,” Hield said, via James Ham of NBC Sports. “I never had no problem with nobody here (with the Kings). Everything that was being heard, that wasn’t put out by me. I love everybody in this franchise, this organization. I don’t regret nothing that I said. I’m going to keep it 100.”

Over the summer, countless rumors surfaced of a potential departure, but none of them panned out, and he remains on the Kings roster as a sixth man for the crew.

Recently, though, Hield made headlines for posting (and then deleting) a rather bizarre picture on Twitter, which featured him dressed like an Egyptian Pharoah.

The photo is probably Hield's Haloween costume since the holiday is just a few days away. And while it's unknown why he deleted it, the comments couldn't have been very nice.

Whatever the case, Hield has a lot to think about this season -- more so than what he's going to wear for Halloween. With mostly the same roster as last year, the Kings still have to figure out how to take a leap in the West and squeeze into the playoffs this season.

With the Lakers, Clippers, Suns, Nuggets, and Blazers in their Conference, it certainly will not be an easy feat.

Hield, who turns 29 in December, is averaging 15.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2 assists per game on 39% shooting. The Kings are 1-2 through their first three games.
