Nikola Jokic Shares A Heartfelt Moment With His Brothers After Heat-Nuggets Game

The Denver Nuggets were hosted by the Miami Heat in another intriguing NBA game with a bit of history. The last time both teams met in the 2021-22 season, there was an altercation between Nikola Jokic and Markieff Morris that led to an injury for Markieff and a one-game suspension for Jokic.
The squabble caused a family feud, where the Jokic brothers were ready for whatever if the Morris brothers were planning to engage in a duel off the court. As a result, the Jokic brothers got early tickets for the Miami Heat game in South Beach.
Following a four-game absence due to a right wrist sprain, Jokic was ready to go against the Heat. Thankfully, it was a pretty quiet game this time around, and the Nuggets successfully went 2-0 in the season series.
In anticipation of another ruckus, the Jokic brothers made their way to the FTX Arena to support Nikola. After the game, Jokic was seen sharing a heartfelt moment with his brothers.
On his return, he scored 24 points, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists to lead his team to a 120-111 victory. The Nuggets were missing Michael Porter Jr., who is battling a back injury and has to undergo surgery, which will keep him out for the season, but they had no problem getting the W in a hostile environment.
Unfortunately, the Heat had to suit up without Markieff for the 11th consecutive game due to the neck injury he sustained in that dust-up with Jokic.
With the victory, the Nuggets now sit 9th in the Western Conference standings with a 10-10 record. The team is still hopeful for the speedy return of Jamal Murray, who tore his ACL towards the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
Despite missing five games, Jokic still leads the Nuggets in points (26.2), assists (6.4), rebounds (13.7), steals (1.2), and blocks (0.9). Without Jokic, it is safe to say this team will flat out fall apart. They lost the last four games in his absence, three of them by double-digit margins.
