Andrew Wiggins Repeated The Legendary Penny Hardaway Spin Step Back Move

Landing in Golden State was the best thing that could happen to Andrew Wiggins' career. The Canadian player has found his place in the world in the Bay, exceeding with the Dubs, becoming one of the most important players on the roster. 

Ever since he arrived at Chase Center, Wiggins has improved his level, becoming a more dangerous player on the offensive end of the ball. The main example of that is an incredible move he learned and has used over the year. 

Back in September, NBA fans debated who could emulate Penny Hardaway's unguardable spin step back, with some saying Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, and even LeBron James could do it. Yet, nobody else but Wiggins has pulled that off. 

The player has used that move as part of his repertoire and seeing how great he's looked doing it, it doesn't seem like he'll stop anytime soon. Swishline recently shared a post with a compilation of three times Wiggins did this move (second slide).

He recently pulled it on Chris Paul. Prior to that, he did it to Cade Cunningham and Ayo Dosunmu. However, it looks like the first time Wiggins did this move was against LeBron James, scoring on The King last season. 

Penny made one of the hardest signature moves to emulate. Nobody tried to do it before until Wiggins said 'enough' and added the move to his arsenal. This man has gotten a lot better since he joined Stephen Curry and the Warriors in Golden State. 

After spending the first six years of his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Wiggins landed in the Bay, improving his level in two seasons with the Dubs. Now he added one of the deadliest moves in league history. 

Wiggins is averaging 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 23 games with the Warriors this season.
