HarmonyOS powered Huawei smart glasses to launch on December 23

Today, Huawei has officially confirmed the launch of HarmonyOS powered Huawei smart glasses is set for December 23, 2021. Alongside this, the company will also debut the Huawei P50 Pocket folding phone, Blood Pressure Watch D, and more products.

Also, the Chinese tech maker has released the first introduction video of upcoming smart glasses that support lens replacement and side of the frame equipped with sound system. In addition, it supports the HarmonyOS system.

Huawei official has captioned these new smart glasses with “the wisdom of life portable assistant”, carrying HarmonyOS. To be mentioned, this wearable doesn’t contain any brand logo. It is likely to be a brand new product in the smart glasses segment.

Earlier, Huawei revealed two generations of Huawei smart glasses but in cooperation with Gentle Monster. The previously launched smart eyewear includes Gentle Monster X eyewear II with supportive functionalities such as music and intelligent voice reminders.

Huawei X Gentle Monster Eyewear II:

Launched in 2020, The new Huawei X Gentle Monster collaboration brings Bluetooth 5.2 support on the Eyewear II, along with 128mm diaphragms that are designed to offer great audio quality. It is also an inverse sound wave to prevent any audio bleeding to offer better privacy as well.

The curved earpiece angle has been increased from the first generation, from 12-degree to 20-degree, to achieve a better fit. The Eyewear II supports updated smart gesture control. For pairing, users only need to gently pinch on the left temple.

In addition, it offers a wider soundstage range for a more immersive sound experience, perfect for listening to music, playing games, or watching TV and much more.
