The Los Angeles Lakers have played without LeBron James a lot this season due to the superstar missing time with injury. There has recently been some fear about him missing more time as well.

LeBron James was previously put into health and safety protocols and was forced to miss the Los Angeles Lakers' recent game against the Sacramento Kings. He was also expected to miss the next few games.

However, it seems as though that will not be the case. Shams Charania of The Athletic has recently reported that LeBron James has been cleared from health and safety protocols, as he has recorded multiple negative COVID-19 tests. It seems as though he will be returning against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Lakers star LeBron James has been cleared from health and safety protocols to return on Friday vs. Clippers, after testing positive but since registering multiple negative COVID-19 tests, sources tell The Athletic, Stadium.

James has had multiple rounds of negative test results since returning to Los Angeles from Sacramento on Tuesday evening, multiple sources said. It appears the initial positive test ultimately was inconclusive result.

There is no doubt that this is good news for the Los Angeles Lakers, who have been inconsistent during his absence. Having LeBron James playing and helping the team figure out how to win will certainly be beneficial.

The Los Angeles Lakers are currently 6th in the Western Conference with a 12-11 record. There have been some concerns about them from Lakers fans, but they still have the talent to be a championship-caliber team. Perhaps they'll end up getting there, and with LeBron James at the helm, it would be foolish to doubt them.
